Chidiya Tapu Beach Andaman and Nicobar Island
The Chidiatappu is the southernmost tip of the South Andaman and is situated at a distance of 28 kms from Port Blair Bus Terminus. It takes one hour to reach here from the bus terminus by bus and 30 minutes by private transport. This place is generally known as 'Bird Island'. In Hindi language 'Chiclia' means 'small bird' and 'tappu' means Island. All birds migrate to this resort. Most of the species of birds found in A & N Island are found here.
