#1. Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

It was the last expression of princely architectural extravaganza built throughout the British Raj. Also called Chittar Palace, the palace is a splendid example of Indo-colonial architecture.

#5. The Junagarh Fort, Bikaner

The fort is a formidable structure confined by a moat and has some gorgeous palaces within. The palaces, made in red sandstone and marble comprises an ideal picture in the background of courtyards, balconies, Kiosks and windows that are dotted all over the structure. Constructed by Akbar's basic Raja Singh in 1593 AD, the notables of the Palace Fort are the exceptionally beautiful Chandra Mahal with wonderful painting mirrors and sculpted marble panels, and the Phool Mahal ornately embellished with glass and mirror work. Other palaces in Bikaner worth going to are the Anup Mahal, Karan Mahal, Dungar Niwas, Ganga Niwas, Gaj Mandir and Rang Mahal.

#6. Dargah Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti, Ajmer

The Dargah is in the honour of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti who concerned India from Persia with the invasion of Mohammad Ghori in the year 1192. The shrine is 2nd in value than the Holy Mecca to the Muslims and creation begun by the then Sultan of Delhi Altamash. The great mughal Emperor Humayun finished the building and construction of the Dargah left unfinished by the earlier sultan. It was a place of a yearly trip undertaken by Akbar the excellent.
